Luby'S Butternut Brownie Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. sugar (divided use)
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 rounded c. graham cracker crumbs (about 7 whole crackers)*
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

*Another version calls for Ritz crackers (22), crushed.
