Texas Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. margarine
1 lb. brown sugar, firmly packed
6 eggs, separated
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. pecans
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream margarine and brown sugar together.
Dredge nuts, cherries and pineapple in 2 cups flour.
Add baking powder to remaining 2 cups of flour.
Add to margarine and sugar mixture alternately with egg yolks, beating well after each addition.
