Ingredients

3 c. sliced beets
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. beet juice
2 tsp. butter
Preparation

Heat beet juice, sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and butter together until boiling, stirring constantly. Add beets to hot mixture. A bit of cinnamon is good (optional).
