Ham And Red Eye Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 country ham steaks (about 2 lb.)
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. strong black coffee
    hot biscuits
Preparation
    Place 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet; add ham.
    Cook ham until browned.
    Repeat with remaining oil and ham.
    Remover ham from skillet, reserving drippings in pan.
    Add coffee to drippings in pan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
    Serve gravy and ham with hot biscuits.
