Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; cool and dice.
    Fry bacon; drain.
    Brown onions in bacon fat until lightly browned.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Cook over low heat until smooth and bubbly, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vinegar and water.
    Heat to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute. Stir in potatoes and crumbled bacon.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
