Apple Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. chopped pecans
    4 apples, peeled and chopped
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook butter and sugars.
    Mix in pecans.
    Cook apple.
    Mix in sugar, lemon flavoring, cinnamon, cornstarch and water.
    Line pie pan with waxed paper.
    Pour pecan mixture in.
    Make a crust.
    Put on top of pecans.
    Put apple mixture on top of crust.
    Make another crust.
    Put on top of apples.
    Sprinkle top of crust with cinnamon/sugar.
    Put slits in pie crust.
    Bake about 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Let pie cool 15 minutes, then turn out onto platter.
    Top with Cool Whip or ice cream.
