Swiss Alpine Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10-inch unbaked pie shell
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    2 c. ham, cubed
    2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. onions/scallions, chopped
    3 eggs, beaten or egg substitute
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Slightly cook broccoli; drain well and chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Layer ham, cheese, broccoli and onions in pie crust, using two layers.
    Add eggs (beaten) to scalded milk; add salt and pepper.
    Mix well and pour over ingredients in pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake for additional 35 minutes.
    Remove and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
