Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1/8 tsp. oregano, crushed
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    12 cubes (12-inch) mild cheese
    1/3 to 1/2 c. water
    1 medium clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion and salt.
    Divide into 12 parts.
    Shape meat firmly around each cheese cube to form meatballs.
    Brown in skillet in shortening.
    Pour off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients; cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
    Stir now and then.
    Makes 3 to 4 servings.
