Zucchini Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small to medium zucchini per serving
    1 medium onion, quartered
    4 oz. sliced mushrooms
    1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 pkg. sweet sausage
    1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cover vegetables with water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Crumble and brown sausage.
    Remove vegetables from heat when tender.
    Do not overcook.
    Add sausage, V-8 juice and spices.
