Fruit Filled Spice Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. gingerbread mix
    1 can applesauce
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
    1/2 c. dried prunes, chopped
    1 pkg. white frosting mix
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine gingerbread mix, applesauce and water. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Fold in fruit. Spread on a greased and floured 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Frost with the white frosting prepared by package directions, substituting lemon juice for the water. Cut into bars.
