Peach Cream Pecan Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 egg whites (room temperature)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans or less
Preparation
    Beat first 3 ingredients until stiff.
    Fold in remaining ingredients.
    Form pie shell.
    Bake 55 minutes at 300\u00b0.
