Poor Man'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
4 eggs
4 heaping Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 qt. sweet milk
a lump of shortening the size of a walnut

Preparation

Mix ingredients and pour into an unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
This recipe is a very old recipe given to me by my first mother-in-law.
A bit of history, but a good pie.
