Fruity Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans pineapple chunks
    1 can fruit cocktail or fruit chunks
    2 boxes regular vanilla pudding
    2 cans mandarin oranges
    cherries for color (may add grapes or other fruit of choice)
Preparation
    Drain all fruit. Reserve juice. Mix 3 cups juice with pudding mix.
    Cook over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and cool.
    Once cooled, mix with fruit and chill to serve.
