Peppers And Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean round steak *
2 green peppers, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 c. beef bouillon
1/4 c. lite soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
Preparation

Cut steak into thin slices.
Place half the steak in crock-pot.
Arrange peppers on steak.
Place remaining steak on top of peppers.
(Mushrooms can be added at this time.)
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. During last hour of cooking, stock may be thickened, if desired. Serve over bed of hot rice.
Serves 6.
