Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
2 egg whites
3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 loaf white bread
Preparation

Melt cheese and butter slowly in medium pot.
Remove from heat.
Beat egg whites until mixture is creamy.
Fold egg whites into cheese mixture.
Cut crust off bread slices.
Cut each slice of bread into 4 squares.
Stack the 4 squares on top of each other, then spread cheese mixture between the layers.
Spread the mixture over the outside of the stack, like frosting a cake. Place each stack 1/2 inch apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
