Sparkling Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    3 c. chilled club soda
    lemon wedges (optional)
Preparation
    Prechill 1 quart pitcher and four 12 ounce glasses.
    Combine sugar and lemon juice in chilled pitcher, stirring every 5 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved.
    To serve, add club soda to syrup.
    Syrup mixture can be made ahead and refrigerated for 3 days.
