Mother'S Chocolate Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except walnuts and cook until it will form a ball in cold water.
    Pour in buttered pan and sprinkle with pecans or nuts.
    When cool, cut in 1/2-inch squares and roll in wax paper.
