All American Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) Jell-O brand berry blue flavor gelatin
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) Jell-O brand gelatin, any red flavor
    4 c. boiling water
    2 c. cold water
    4 c. Angel Food or pound cakes, cubes
    1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 c. sliced strawberries
Preparation
    Dissolve each flavor of gelatin completely in 2 cups boiling water in separate bowls.
    Stir 1 cup cold water into each.
    Pour into separate 13 x 9-inch pans.
    Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
    Cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Layer:
    gelatin cubes, whipped topping, cake and strawberries in 3-quart serving bowl.
    Garnish with remaining whipped topping.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Makes 12 to 16 servings.
