Cracker Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    40 saltine crackers
    3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    3/4 c. butter or firm margarine (not light)
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (flavor can vary)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Line saltines on buttered, foil-lined 15 x 10-inch baking sheet with sides.
    In saucepan, bring sugar and butter to a boil; let boil fully 1 minute.
    Pour over crackers, spreading to cover saltines.
    Bake 5 to 6 minutes until bubbly all over.
    Remove from oven.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Let stand 3 minutes until chocolate is melted.
    Spread over saltines. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Cool completely; break apart in small pieces.
