Beef Stew For The Crock-Pot(Crock-Pot On Low All Day.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice white bread, broken in pieces
    1 c. celery, cut up
    1 medium onion, sliced, or 2 tsp. dry onion
    6 carrots, cut lengthwise and then across (to suit)
    6 to 8 potatoes, peeled and cut up
    12 oz. tomato juice or V-8
    1 tsp. beef bouillon
    2 Tbsp. tapioca (Minute)
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    2 1/2 lb. lean stewing beef, cubed
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in crock-pot. Do not brown meat.
    A magic brown gravy develops during cooking.
    Stir occasionally if you are at home.
    I cook mine in a crock-pot on low all day. Serves 6.
    This recipe is delicious with biscuits and a green salad.
