Holiday Mince Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. 12 oz. jar (3 c.) mincemeat (regular or brandy)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine in large bowl oats, flour, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon.
    Add butter and cut in until mixture is in fine crumbs. Pat 2/3 of crumb mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Spoon evenly over top mincemeat.
    Mix nuts into remaining crumb mixture; sprinkle over mincemeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes, cool in pan and cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
