Fudge Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. margarine or butter
3 c. Quaker oats

Preparation

In a saucepan bring to a boil sugar, milk, cocoa.
Stir constantly until it becomes candy stage (when fudge balls up when dropped into cold water).
Add vanilla and margarine, stir rapidly until blended.
Add oats and drop by spoonful on wax paper.
