Marinated Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. boneless rolled roast, sirloin tip or rump
    1/2 c. butter, divided
    3/4 c. light dry cooking sherry or dry vermouth
    1 large onion, sliced (more if sweet)
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
    3 beef bouillon cubes in 1 1/2 c. water (use mushroom juice, then rest of water)
Preparation
    Brown meat in 1/4 cup butter.
    Bake beef at 325\u00b0 uncovered for 2 hours.
    Pour sherry over meat and bake 1 hour more.
    Remove meat from oven; cool and slice, saving juice.
