Italiano Main Dish Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 medium clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
    2 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
    1 can Campbell's bean with bacon soup
    1 soup can water
    1 can minestrone soup
    1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    generous dash pepper
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Shape beef into bite size meatballs; brown.
    Cook onion with garlic and oregano in a small amount of shortening or beef drippings until tender.
    In a large kettle, gradually stir water into bean with bacon soup.
    Add remaining ingredients except cheese.
    Heat to slow boil and cook until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
    Serve with cheese.
