Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Blend together sugar, flour and salt.
    Add milk and cook until thickens.
    Just before removing from stove, stir in egg yolks (save whites for meringue).
    Add butter.
    Pour into a baked pie shell.
