Walnut Vegetable Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh broccoli
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. tamari (soy sauce)
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2/3 c. walnuts
    1 large carrot, pared and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. water
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut flowerets from broccoli; slice in half lengthwise.
    In small bowl, combine broth, cornstarch, tamari, sherry and sugar; set aside.
