Green Beans Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 (1 lb. each) cans French-cut green beans, drained
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1/3 c. cornflake crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    In skillet, cook onion and 2 tablespoons butter until onion is transparent. Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once and cook until mixture is thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add sour cream and then add beans. Spread 1/3 of bean mixture in greased casserole and sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat layers, ending with beans.
