Ham And Cheese Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. ground or chopped ham
    2 c. shredded cheese
    12 to 15 slices white bread (old best)
    6 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper (a little; ham is salty)
Preparation
    Cut bread into cubes.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix the first 2 ingredients; mix with bread.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over top of bread cubes.
    Cover and put in icebox for 6 hours or overnight (best).
    Bake without cover.
