Pepper Steak With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cubed
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 glove garlic, minced
    1 box fresh mushrooms, chopped
    2 large peppers, cut into rings
    2 medium onions, cut into rings
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
Preparation
    Brown beef cubes in shortening; remove from pan.
    Blend in flour to make a smooth paste.
    Add catsup, water, soy sauce, pepper, bouillon cube, garlic and onion; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Add beef to sauce; cook until tender.
    Add mushrooms, peppers and onions (rings); cook for about 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
    Do not add salt or Accent. Serve immediately with rice.
