Savory Potato Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) Russet potatoes
    1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
Preparation
    Scrub potatoes; slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Combine remaining ingredients; toss with potatoes.
    Arrange on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender and browned.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
