Stuffed Green Peppers(Microwave Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium green peppers
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. precooked rice (uncooked)
1 egg, beaten
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup (undiluted)
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, browned
1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Preparation

Cut a slice from stem end of each pepper.
Remove seeds and membrane.
Combine salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, rice, eggs, 3/4 cup soup, onion and ground beef.
Stir lightly.
Pack each pepper with 1/2 cup of mixture.
Place filled peppers in a round microwave casserole.
(Peppers should fit tightly.)
Pour remaining soup over filled peppers.
Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at High 15 to 18 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Let stand, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes.
