Sour Cream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    1 egg white, well beaten
Preparation
    Combine nuts,
    sugar and sour cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat
    and
    cook
    slowly
    for
    15 minutes or until thick. When thick,
    add
    the well beaten egg white and mix thoroughly. Allow mixture
    to
    cool.
    Spread
    between
    layers and to top of cake.
    (Not sufficient amount to cover sides of cake, but since it is so rich, it really doesn't need to.)
