Luscious Lemon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. butter, chilled
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. lemon juice (unstrained)
Preparation
    Blend the 1 cup flour and confectioners sugar in a bowl.
    Cut in the butter until blended.
    Firmly and evenly press into an ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and baking powder. Blend into beaten eggs, along with lemon juice.
    Pour mixture over crust.
    Return to oven and bake 25 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack and cool.
    Glaze with a thin confectioners sugar icing.
