Ingredients

1 lb. fresh carrots
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. sugar
salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. dried mint (for lamb) or parsley (for beef, chicken, fish, etc.)
Preparation

Wash, scrape and cut carrots into 1 1/2-inch sticks.
Cook in salted water until tender.
Drain.
Add butter, sugar, salt and mint or parsley; cook over medium heat until glazed.
