Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Mix all together, except granulated sugar.
    Cover and chill 1 hour.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Shape dough into balls.
    Dip tops in granulated sugar and place, sugar side up, 3 inches apart on lightly greased sheet.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 4 dozen.
