Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 stick oleo
2 eggs
milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together until well mixed.
Add butter and oleo; mix well.
Beat eggs.
Add enough milk to make 1/2 cup liquid.
Pour into flour mixture.
Mix well.
Knead, adding flour until you reach right consistency.
Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cook 8 to 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
