Snow Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    4 c. flour, sifted
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Combine rest of ingredients. Roll to 1-inch thickness.
    Cut out and place in greased pan.
    Let rise about 40 minutes.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Makes about 24.
