Ingredients

2/3 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. coarsely broken pecan meats
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine well.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to first mixture. Add pecans and mix well.
Drop in scant spoonfuls on greased baking sheets.
Bake in moderately hot oven (375\u00b0) for about 10 minutes.
Remove from baking sheet immediately.
Makes about 8 dozen.
