Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dry pinto beans
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Wash beans through several changes of water.
    Place in large pan.
    Cover with cold water and soak overnight.
    Next day, heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients and cook until beans are tender, about 1 hour.
    Stir often.
