Sherry Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chicken, cooked and chopped
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    1 pinch nutmeg
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 stick margarine or butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together chicken, sherry and nutmeg.
    Set aside.
    In a large skillet, saute mushrooms and margarine until tender.
    Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir until bubbly.
    Add milk, broth and soup, slowly stirring until mixed well.
    Add chicken mixture and pepper to taste.
    Heat through and serve over rice or noodles. Tastes best over pastry shells.
