Parmesan Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    garlic powder (if desired)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Rinse potatoes and dry.
    Brush 1 tablespoon margarine on bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of cheese.
    Toss potatoes with remaining margarine.
    Layer 1/3 potatoes on bottom of pie plate; sprinkle with 1/3 of cheese; salt, pepper and garlic powder as desired.
    Repeat with 2 more layers.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
