Beet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. cooked, grated beets
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
3 1/3 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients.
Sprinkle lemon juice over beets. Mix remaining ingredients.
Combine mixtures.
Beat 2 minutes. Pour into greased 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes. Cool, then frost with:
