Rice A' Go-Go - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. raw rice (not instant)
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 1 small can
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    About 1 hour before serving, start heating oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water, stirring while dissolving.
    In hot margarine in medium skillet (medium heat), saute rice for 5 minutes or until golden brown, stirring constantly.
    Add to broth in casserole.
    Add rice, onion, celery, mushrooms and seasonings.
    Bake, covered, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes.
    Remove lid and cook 5 minutes longer.
    Serves 8 or more.
