Native American Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. corn meal
    2 c. scalded milk
    1/3 c. molasses
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. milk (to be added last)
Preparation
    Add corn meal to scalded milk.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Add all of ingredients except eggs and 1 cup milk.
    Cool.
    Carefully add eggs. Pour into casserole dish.
    After 1/2 hour, pour last cup of cold milk on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Serve with half and half cream or milk and molasses.
