Fiesta Mexican Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz process cheese spread
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. chopped tomato
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
Preparation

Brown meat; drain.
Add green pepper and onion.
Cook until tender.
Add half of process cheese spread and chili powder.
Stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
Stir in tomato.
Combine remaining cheese, eggs, flour, salt and milk.
Beat until smooth. Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle with cornmeal.
Spoon meat mixture over batter to 1 inch of edge.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
