Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. crushed pineapple (with juice)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    4 to 6 Granny Smith apples
    1 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Heat pineapple, sugar, egg, flour and vinegar until it boils and thickens.
    Chill until cold.
    Add chopped nuts and Cool Whip. Fold in diced apples.
