Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 large can Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 large jar maraschino cherries, drained
    20 oz. can chunk pineapple with juice
    12 oz. can frozen orange juice
    6 to 9 bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Boil 3 cups sugar and 3 cups water until it is a syrup.
    Cool and mix with orange juice and fruit.
    Freeze.
    Can cut sugar to 1 1/2 cups and 1 1/2 cups of water.
