Peach Melba Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices firm white bread, toasted
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 1/2 lb. ripe peaches (about 3 large)
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 pt. raspberries
    vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, tear toast into coarse crumbs. Toss with butter, then set aside.
    Peel and slice peaches. Sprinkle with sugar, ginger and lemon juice.
    Let stand 1 minute.
    Microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes until peaches are soft and mixture is bubbly. Add berries and stir to coat.
    Sprinkle toast mixture over all. Cook, uncovered, on High 3 to 5 minutes until mixture is again bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes or more. Serve, if desired, with vanilla ice cream.
