Mostaccioli Primavera Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. (8 oz.) mostaccioli, uncooked
    2 c. fresh asparagus tips, uncooked
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. Italian dressing
    2 Tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar
    1/2 c. sweet red pepper strips
    1/2 c. sliced zucchini
    1/2 c. diced red onion
    1/4 c. fresh basil leaves, chopped
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
    During last 2 minutes of cooking, add asparagus to cooking water.
    Drain pasta and asparagus.
    Rinse with cold water to cool quickly.
