Fairy Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    4 egg yolks, separated
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    sugar
    1 pt. strawberries, sliced
Preparation
    Cream the butter and 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Add well beaten egg yolks.
    Add milk and 1/2 cup of
    flour, then baking powder, mixed with the 2 tablespoons of flour.
    Turn into two 9-inch cake pans (greased).
